I want you to feel completely confident when you join an ETJ English course, so here's exactly how refunds and cancellations work.

Your 14-day right to cancel

If you're buying as an individual, UK law gives you 14 days from your purchase to cancel. You don't need to give a reason. The sections below explain how this applies to each part of the course.

The video course (digital content)

When you buy the course, you'll be asked to confirm that you'd like immediate access to the course materials, and that you understand this means you lose your 14-day right to cancel for the digital content once you start accessing it.

• If you haven't accessed any course content, you can cancel within 14 days for a full refund.
• Once you've accessed the course, the video content is non-refundable, except where your statutory rights apply (see "If something isn't right" below).

Accent evaluation and WhatsApp/email support (services)

Your accent evaluation and personal feedback on WhatsApp and email are real, one-to-one coaching work, so they're treated as a service.

When you buy, you can ask me to start these within your 14-day cancellation period. If you do, and then cancel within the 14 days:

• The accent evaluation, once completed, is charged at £100 and deducted from your refund.
• WhatsApp and email support you've received is charged in proportion to the support provided up to the point you cancel. This is deducted from your refund.

You'll receive a refund for anything that hasn't been used or provided.

After 14 days

After your 14-day cancellation period, refunds aren't usually available. If something serious happens in your life that affects your ability to continue, please get in touch, and I'll always do my best to find a fair solution.

If something isn't right

If any part of the course isn't as described, doesn't work properly, or isn't provided with reasonable care and skill, please email me. I'll put it right, and if I can't, you may be entitled to a partial or full refund. This doesn't affect your legal rights as a consumer.

How to cancel

Email me at [email protected] with your name and the date of your purchase, stating that you'd like to cancel. Refunds are processed within 14 days of your cancellation, using your original payment method.

A note from me

Changing your accent takes time and practice, and results build gradually. I've put a huge amount of care into this course, and if you're ever unsure or struggling, message me before making a decision. I'd much rather help you get unstuck.
